New to the Car Shipping Game

First, I've never shipped a car before. I know that it gets done everyday, I had a friend who bought a car and had it shipped to him, but I personally never shipped a car.

Second, I'm getting a $10 refund for submitting this review.

Third, I would have submitted it for free, but I'm probably going to be more desriptive for a little coin.

I received 5-8 responses after my internet inquiry. All different prices, and all making the same claim. I looked at the reviews on this site along with the BBB and epinions. I decided to go with Honesty First after reading all of the reviews and receiving fast responses to my emails.

I will say, theirs was NOT the best price. It was somewhere in the middle of the pack, but for me it was reasonable. I needed to get my car shipped sooner rather than later, and I thought that the "best price' was gonna probably have me waiting longer to get my car picked up.

I worked with David Franco who was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I worked only with him throughout the process. I was skeptical about the trucking company that picked up my order, so he sent me a copy of their W-9! After 2 days with no hits, we ended up changing the pick-up from the suburbs where I lived, to the city where I worked and got my car scheduled later that day.

David was responsive and provided me with extra information on the process which eased my worries.

Mike, the owner/operator who worked for the trucking company I contracted with, who actually transported my car, was great, too. He missed his timelines by about 16-24 hours on each side of the trip, but that didn't seem too bad to me since he still delivered the car within 4 days.
