Last month I began looking for a way to ship my car from Nashville to my daughter in California. It is really easy to find some pretty sketchy shippers. They're the ones that want money right away to get you the one last spot on a truck leaving soon, and don't want to discuss insurance.. Don't do it. I am really happy we found Ship A Car Direct via a rating site. They are a broker and well worth it. Including their broker's fee we still got a price lower than working directly with a shipper. They check out insurance, driving records and all that. They eliminate shippers with bad records and bad service and they include their own insurance if the shipper's doesn't work out. Then they put the job out for bid at what they think is a reasonable price. Within about an hour we had a very reasonable offer to ship exactly when we wanted. The shipper came a day early, no problem, and dropped off the car early, really no problem, I am happy to recommend them.
