I shipped my car from Maryland to Southern California - about as far as you can in the continental US. As I put my car up in the system July 5th, it took a few days to get a driver assigned - maybe 5 or 6. By that point I had to fly to my end destination and my mom was authorized to hand the car over to the driver. The communication from Shipacar was good, as was contact with the driver. I was shocked that transport time from MD to CA was four days. The driver even showed up hours earlier than projected on the last day. My car was pretty much in the same condition it was in when I left it, just a little bit dustier from the open carrier.
