I used Ship a Car Direct to transport my 2013 Chevy 4x4 2500 from Texas to California in December and it was an easy process. I bought the truck sight unseen through a dealer in Texas. I elected to use the auto shipper that the dealer recommended and was totally disappointed. The dealer's shipper quoted me a decent price and I said let's make it happen. Well 3 weeks later the truck still hadn't been shipped. It was very hard to get a hold of them. Once I pushed them to either get the truck shipped or I'm going to use someone else they said they found a transporter but it was going to be 1600 dollars, not the 1200 they quoted me. They also said any other shipper wouldn't be able to do it for less. Well that's when I found Ship a Car Direct.
I called Ship a Car Direct and they were great. They walked me through their process and quoted me 1150. They guaranteed they could have the truck on a transport in no more than 4 days. Two days later they called and said the truck was being picked up as we spoke and it would be on it's way but it was going to be 1200 otherwise we could wait another day or so to see if someone could do it for the 1150. No big deal 50 dollars more as long as the truck was on it's way. The price was cheaper than the other company because Ship a Car Direct told me to meet the transporter in a metropolitan city to pick up the truck versus having it shipped to my door which was more expensive. In the end the truck showed up where I arranged to meet the transporter and it was in perfect condition. Thanks to David at Ship a Car Direct for getting my truck to me at a good price in a quick time frame.
