We had initially considered driving the car across country but then realized that by the time we drove/paid for gas, ate, and had hotel rooms, we would not be saving anything and would be using all our vacation time and arriving tired. So we decided to have the car transported. I found Ship A Car Direct online. The reviews were good so I contacted them. This company was just as accurate and attentive as I had hoped. I received an estimate and information on the entire process, months before I was actually ready. When I was ready to ship the car, the estimate was updated (an increase) and a date was set. Just before the pick-up date, the estimate actually was reduced to the original cost from months prior. The car was picked up promptly (CA) on the day promised and delivered a week later (FL), also as promised. It was picked up from a relative and the driver called me to confirm that he had the car. The driver provided his phone number and said I could call. I contacted him a couple of days before delivery and he was more than happy to tell me his schedule and let me know that he would call when he was closer. The driver contacted me to confirm the delivery so that there were no surprises. I couldn't be happier.
