I had a number of quotes to ship a car I just purchased from Tukwila, Wa to Friendswood, TX. Ship A Car Direct was not the cheapest but I did like the fact they were highly ranked on most websites that I went to check them out. Often they were number one. I had a number of concerns about shipping a car. The last time I had a car shipped it was damaged in transit and the carrier refused to pay for the damages saying it was my fault for not having the car shipped in an enclosed carrier. I will say it was my first time to ship and I didn't really know how to go about it. This time I did a lot more research. I talked to people on forums and asked people i knew who had shipped cars. So when the time came I went with Ship A Car Direct because they were a BBB rated company and the number of positive reviews. I emailed Stefan my representative a number of times explaining my previous experience and he assured me that with Ship A Car Direct that would not happen. I had told him what day I was going to check the out, but had not contracted their service yet. I flew up on a Tuesday to see the car, contracted Ship A Car Direct on Thursday and they picked it up on Saturday around noon and delivered it to Texas on Tuesday at 1pm. Everything on the car looked just like the car had looked when I saw it the week before. The seller had included a number of parts in the back seat and in the trunk and all those arrived intact. Next time I buy a car and need it transported I will definitely call Stefan at Ship A Car Direct.
