I analyze things to death because I'm a scientist. So not surprising I took a long period of time deciding on how to transport a car from Nevada to Colorado. I mean, really, if you read the negative comments, it's a wonder that anyone ships a car!!!. Eventually I just trusted the overall ratings on this review site and chose Ship a Car Direct based on ratings and cost. The quote given to me $675.00 ($225 brokers fee and $450 cash transport fee) was what I paid - no other hidden fees. Watch out for those fees. After reading the fine print on the other carrier I was considering I noticed a $30.00 fee for paying the broker fee by credit card! No deposits were charged, and the broker's fee was not collected until a transporter had been secured. Jason - my contact by email - was punctual in responding to my email enquiries, and Exile Transport (Vincent) was excellent - in spite of its name! Exile is out of Kansas City, and was very flexible on determining a pickup time. Vincent called me a few hours before delivery to determine a drop-off time. Thanks, Ship Car Direct and Exile Transport for making my car move an excellent and stress free experience!
