It took a little longer than we were comfortable with for a connection to be made with a carrier. Once a connection was made the rep from Ship a Car Direct told us that the carrier was asking for fifty dollars more than the original quote because we were anxious to have a date for pick up and he had lost his negotiating power. That didn't sit well with me but once the connection was made things went very smoothly. The driver was great and very helpful. Matt from this company always returned e-mails and calls and the price was still less than other quotes.

Thanks for your positive feedback, Lauren! You bring up helpful points - carrier confirmation usually cones within 24-48 hours of pick-up, even if you place your order weeks in advance, and options can be limited around the holidays.
