I was shipping my car very short notice and they found me a carrier immediately, which was nice. I was told that Monterey was a difficult area to get to and I had no idea how long it was going to take when they picked up the car, but that might be why it took a week. The pickup and delivery were somewhat difficult because in both cases I had to meet them at a separate location (I was in apartment buildings) and I wasn't given too much notice before they arrived. Pick up was scheduled the day before for 12 pm, but the driver arrived at 9 am. Delivery was set to happen at a mall, but then changed when the driver got kicked out of the parking lot. Not the smoothest of transactions, but everyone I dealt with was polite, professional, and understanding of my situation. Also be aware that most of the payment will be given directly to the delivery driver and has to be cash or money order. My car arrived in the same condition I left it, and they even insisted that I inspect everything closely for possible damages. For the price, I would definitely do it again.

Thanks for the thorough feedback, Alison! You are right about the payment, it's a good tip for first time shippers to know. And that drive times aren't exact. Glad everyone was polite and helpful!
