I thought I was going to be in trouble when the transport company called me on Tuesday lunchtime to say they would pick the car up the same afternoon because I had scheduled it with Shipacardiect for Thursday! It was OK though as the lady said she would rearrange it for me.
I was quoted 7 - 10 days to ship my Ford Edge from North Jersey to Salt Lake City, confirmed by the driver who picked up the car late on Thursday afternoon, so I had prepared to have a rental until the following Wednesday just in case. I needn't have bothered because he actually arrived in SLC late Saturday night and called to say he would drop off the car at 9.00 Sunday morning, 2 days to transport the car over 2000 miles! I expected 4 or 5 drivers to step out of the cab when it was delivered but it was just the one. There were 6 cars on the Puma transporter with mine being the first drop, and they were all completely caked in dirt, so much so that I couldn't see out of the side windows to see traffic coming at junctions!
Everything else was fine, odometer was as it was at pick up and I was please to be able to return the rental early.
