I am a college student and was looking for a fairly affordable transport to get my car from Utah back to North Carolina. I searched the web for quite some time and came across some good reviews for Ship A Car Direct. I was a little uncertain at first, because I had seen lower quotes from some other car shipment companies. However, most of the reviews were good for Ship A Car Direct, so I figured an extra $100 wouldn't be the end of the world, especially if that meant my car would make it in one piece, on time. I was quoted $1,000, but ended up paying $1,050 because the car carrier requested a little bit more. However, my car was picked up on time and dropped off on time. My car was really dirty, but that was kind of inevitable, since there was bad weather on the journey here. The driver was very nice and communicated what was happening throughout the process. David from Ship A Car direct followed up to ensure everything went well. I was happy with the result of using this company and would suggest it to others as well.

Thanks for your good feedback, Eryn! You bring up a really important point about quotes and pricing. The quotes you receive when you start your research aren't guarantees of available rates for immediate transport. To confirm a great carrier, it's actually the midrange offers that are more reflective of the transport market.
