Delivery from CA to NY

It took 13 days for the car to get across from California to New York when I was promised 7-10 days. I didn't have problem with the broker but the transporter (E and V Transportation Inc) was not prompt. They held my car in California after picking it up for 6 days, but still promised scheduled 7-10 days delivery. It ended up taking much more time and kept giving excuses about being held up on the road and truck not being functional. At the end, they didn't even deliver with the truck, but drove my own car to the delivery site. I never gave them permission to drive and they never asked to drive my car because I was under the impression that they would deliver the car as is. I was not happy with the lateness and mode of delivery.

Thanks for your feedback, Alex. Sorry your truck broke down in transit. It doesn't happen often but it does happen - maintenance issues can cause delays. The 7-10 day estimate is an average, but not a promise. Bad weather, road construction and other issues can affect arrival times. And while cars aren't driven great distances, they are sometimes driven the last few miles if there are maintenance or location issues.
