Overall excellent with one annoyance

Overall experience was very good. Staff (Amanda) at Safe-direct was excellent; knowledgeable , responsive, helpful.
Car was picked up promptly, travel time was reasonable (8 days from CA to NC), and car was delivered in fine shape.
There was one comparatively minor annoyance but annoyance nonetheless. Person taking delivery of the car in NC was informed that the car would be delivered at about 9 AM Sunday morning to an inconvenient location several miles from his house (there were several large parking lots much closer and near freeways); this person arranged for a ride to this location and waited for a phone call. No call came that morning and he was unsuccessful in contacting the cell phone of the driver. At 3 PM he received a call saying the car would be delivered at 4 PM to the distant transfer site. He went to the site alone at 4 PM and the carrier arrived at 5PM when the transfer took place. Since his original ride to the site was not prepared to wait around all day Sunday, he needed to leave his car at the transfer site and drive home with the newly delivered car; he returned to the transfer site later to retrieve his old car.

Thanks for your great feedback! You bring up a really useful point about delivery estimates. Sorry your delivery contact was inconvenienced - unfortunately drive times can vary from estimates. Glad it was otherwise excellent!
