Brian, the broker for Safe Direct Car shipping was excellent in keeping me informed of the process of transporting my daughter's car. Their service is door to door, and their fees are upfront and straight forward (ie, no hidden fees). The driver was very accommodating in permitting my daughter to load her hatchback with personal items (this is NOT to be expected, and is worked out on an individual basis with the driver) as long as there was an unobstructed view of her rear windows. The cost of shipping those items via UPS or carrying several extra suitcases on the plane (at a surcharge of course) made this service very cost effective. The hatchback arrived safe and sound, and I would not hesitate to use their service again, and would recommend them without any reservation.

Thanks for your very informative review. You bring up a good point about leaving personal belongings in the vehicle - sometimes it's okay, but it's on a case-by-case basis and not guaranteed.
