The overall experience was a good one. The driver called before he came and gave an accurate estimate of his arrival time. When asked, he informed me that the estimated time that the car would arrive in San Diego (from the south suburbs of Chicago) would be 5-7 days. The trip did take 7 days due to the truck breaking down in Los Angeles. However, both I and my daughter (who the car was being shipped to) kept in touch with dispatch. The gentleman was apologetic and promised to let us know when the truck would be repaired. The driver ended up having to get another truck, and the car arrived safe and sound. I have to admit that I was a little nervous about shipping a car all the way across the country, but the process went pretty smoothly.
