My carrier was not assigned until September 6th (with an estimated pick up date of September 7th). The good news is that my car was picked up on September 7th and delivered on September 11th. However, my "desired" pick up date was August 25th, so it was somewhat frustrating to be in a holding pattern for 2 weeks. I had to rent a car for longer than expected. Chris (my key contact) was patient and very nice. He provided good customer service. My car arrived in California with no damage.
