Chris at Safe-Direct was wonderful to work with. He was helpful, honest, communicative, and sympathetic. They booked my order within a few hours of it being posted and all seemed right with the world. The actual carrier, while completely competent, left a lot to be desired in the customer service department. I only spoke to them twice. Once when they were about to pick up the car (when they called at 5:30AM, PST) and once when they were about to deliver it. There was no check-in, no follow-up, no warning on either side. Regardless, the car arrived safely, undamaged, and in perfect condition. I guess I'm willing to trade a little hand-holding from the actual driver for my car being delivered in a timely fashion. Thank heavens for Safe-Direct. They were the buffer between me and the actual trucking company and, as a result, they've left me with a positive feeling about my experience, willing to call them again should the opportunity arise!
