Shipping experience with my Mustang

It was with great trepidation that I approached the process of shipping my Mustang from Texas to Oregon. My main goal was to receive the car in the same condition it was in when loaded on a truck for transport. With that said, it was absolutely essential that my car be shipped in an enclosed truck.

Before selecting a shipper I contacted six different companies to get estimates. I then called four of those firms and discussed my concerns and expectations regarding shipping my car with representatives from each firm. In the end, the broker I chose was Safe-Direct Car Shipping. I chose them because their representative was honest with me, their company had high customer reviews, and their shipping cost estimate was reasonable.

I am pleased to say that the shipment went off without a hitch and my car arrived with no shipping damage. The actual transit time for the shipment was also surprisingly short. It only took from @3PM CDT on Friday to @6PM PDT the following Tuesday (4 days) to go from central Texas to the metro Portland, Oregon area. I will definitely use this comapny again if I ever need to ship a car again in the future.
