I would use Safe-Direct again if I had a normal, regular car to transport. While Chris @ Safe-Direct listened to all my concerns regarding shipping my car, once I was assigned a transport company I was at the transport company's mercy. The car being transported was a 1973 that just isn't a regular car. If you get a dent in 39 year old original paint it is a time consuming process to correct, if you get a driver that puts grease on EVERYTHING he touches, again very time consuming to make it right. The industry as a whole seems like a gamble if you are going to get a transporter that does the job right.

When pricing the transporting, the prices ranged from $750 to $1050, Safe-Direct was $925. I did my research and the lower bids did not have a good rating with the Better Business Bureau. The companies that did have a favorable standing with the Better Business Bureau ranged from $800 on up. Chris at Safe-Direct was the deciding factor along with the website that offered more information than any other website.

When you are asked what day the car will be available for pick up and you say today....don't be surprised if they call you in an hour and say they are on their way.
