Like most this was my first time having a vehicle shipped anywhere. The auto dealer I bought the car from wasn't any help on who to chose. So I went with the theory that if the company is reasonably busy and the complaints are low and the company posted a reason for what happened that I could understand then I stood a good chance of not being disappointed. Safe-Direct Car Shipping made the top of my list. I called them and had Tom as my broker agent. I explained what I needed to happen then threw in the curve ball that my nineteen year old daughter was going to have to handle the transaction on the California end. So I was placing her security and how the final inspection on off load would go in his hands. I got a notice that a carrier was found and a date for pickup was confirmed. A bit later I was told Tom had canceled and posted the load again. Naturally I had to call and ask why. Tom had dug deeper than just the carrier having permits and insurance and felt because of concerns he would suggest another carrier. Mon Trans Inc. took the load the next day and made the delivery as planned. Driver was very understanding and put up with my daughter and her friends. I'm sure he was photographed several times and put up with a lot of" what does this mean " questions. Daughter fine and the car was fine and the cost was reasonable. I couldn't have driven the car out and flown back for that money.
