Great experience with Safe-Direct, Terrible experience witht he carrier

My experience with Safe-Direct was seamless. All of my calls and concerns were answered promptly by phone or email by my contact (Chris). He was knowledgeable, helpful and honest. I would recommend Safe-Direct again but I would never refer anyone to the carrier assigned to my car transport. Upon pick up, I was informed that my car would be delivered on "Thursday. . . .maybe Friday." Chris fully explained that automobile transport was not an exact science, so I was prepared for this. On Friday at 4pm when I had yet to be contacted by the carrier, I called and was told the driver was "behind" and they would call me back in one hour to let me know when the car would be delivered but I could "likely expect it on Sunday." I never received the call that evening. On Sunday at 3pm when I still had not heard from the carrier, I called their office. When I explained who I was and what I was looking for, the gentleman's response was, "he hasn't gotten there yet?!" This certainly did not put me at ease. Again, I was told I would be called back. This time I did receive that call and was told I would receive my car the next day (Monday). I did receive my car on Monday, however open communication where the carrier CONTACTS ME versus me ME CONTACTING THEM would have been extremely helpful and resulted in a better review.
