I literally called 25 third party carriers. I kept trying to get directly to a truck driver until I learned about the process. All my quotes were across the board, but Tom was about middle of the road. He explained the process of listing mycar and waiting. He even helped me come up with a contingency plan in case my two cars couldn't ship bc as he stated "my cars were hitch hiking in the middle of nowhere Mississippi."
I think the main problem with carriers is that they do not explain the process, but safe direct does so if things don't work out, you cannot blame them. I appreciated that greatly!

Safe direct did not accept or want money until we had a confirmed load and I appreciated that over those that wanted up front deposits with no guarantee of delivery.

The driver that they set us up with was very nice. He answered our calls and bc we were so happy, we felt it was the nice thing to do to set up an in between meeting place instead of making him drive into the suburbs of Nevada.

The main bonus in all of this was working with Tom - honest through and through. It's the best way to do business!
