I needed to ship my son's Ford Explorer to Denver, Colorado. I researched a number of transport companies on this site as well as the Better Business Bureau and requested quotes from several companies. The amounts quoted varied, with the majority in the range that was quoted to me by Safe-Direct Car Shipping. When I called the companies I soon realized that some of the amouts quoted were purposefully low, and very unlikely to produce a carrier that would be willing to transport the vehicle in a reasonable time frame. I called Safe-Direct Car Shipping and spoke with David who had provided me with his direct line number in his response to my request for a quote. David was very courteous, knowledgeable and spent considerable time with me on the telephone explaining the process to me and answering my questions. After considering all of the quotes I received and the reviews of the companies I decided to go with Safe-Direct Car Shipping because of my experience with David, and the assurance that he provided that he would do his best to meet my time frame. Of note I was not required to pay a deposit until a carrier was assigned to the agreement. Within an hour of speaking with David I had a carrier assigned, who picked the car up the very next day which was fantastic since I was told up front that it could take more than that. The carrier called me the evening he was assigned to the agreement to arrange for the car to be picked up the next day before noon. He arrived on time, was very courteous and helpful and was very professional in the way he handled the transaction. Finally, the car was delivered the early without any evidence of any damage. Finding a company to ship a car is not easy and the process can be very stressful. David made the process an easy one by being honest, providing a detailed description of the process and engaging a carrier that delivered as promised.
I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again if I need to transport a car.
