Arranged on a Friday for pick-up on a Monday for our 2011 Lexus from Ft.Worth, TX to the Washington DC area. Quick response and scheduling from Jennifer, who explained the whole process and answered all my questions. Found out Friday night that there was a delay in our paperwork for the car and pick-up would have to be delayed. Contacted the shipper directly at 10:30pm Friday night and found out due to October snow in the DC area there would be a delay in pick-up anyway. Requested a pick-up in the afternoon and they were totally okay with it. Shipper was Big Tyme Trucking, they were AWESOME in responding to my phone calls and giving me updates along the way. Was my first time shipping a vehicle...Amy and William with Big Tyme and Jennifer with Safe-Direct were FANTASTIC! I was worried about the whole process, but in the end it worked out great. William, the driver, called me a half-hour before arriving at the delivery address; he was prompt and courteous. During the whole process, I kept second guessing myself on whether I should have used an enclosed truck, but there was absolutely no damage to the car. It just needed a wash, which given the long trip, I expected. Would definitely use Safe-Direct again.
