We used Honesty First 2 1/2 years ago when we shipped one car from Chicago, IL to Denver, CO. We were happy then and although the original carrier had some issues, Honesty First was prompt to fix it and delivery was still on time. The original carrier, 818 Transportation, was supposed to pick up our car on Monday and we never got a call and no one showed up. Late Monday I left a message asking for an update and never got a call back. I called back Tuesday in the late morning and finally talked to someone. She said the truck/trailer was having an issue and she would get back to me in a about an hour to find out the time-frame of when they would pick up my car. After 3 hours I called her back. She couldn't guarantee a time, which I understood. Finally by Tuesday night we decided to cancel and have Tom find another carrier. Monarch Inc. was hired and picking up my car by late Wednesday morning. They were fabulous. Overall, 818 just didn't communicate. Honesty First was great and accomodating as was Monarch, the carrier.
