This was my first experience shipping a vehicle. I searched the internet and was told to check transport reviews. I contacted several carriers to get a quote which ranged from $952 - $1495.
Ship Your Car Now was the highest quote and when I asked why they were so high, Steve told me that other carriers quote a deflated price to get the booking. He then told me, "After your car sits for 10 days and still hasn't been picked up, call me back." That's exactly what happened.

I booked with a 5 star company with a quote of $1195 and was promised my vehicle would be delivered by the 25th of May, 2011. I booked this on May 9th and was told it would take 7-10 days travel time. On the 18th of May, I still had not heard from them. When I contacted them to ask when my vehicle would be picked up, they told me " we're working on it. The same day, I called Steve at Ship Your Car Now and was told he was out of town and Ryan Serpia would help me. This was approximately 10:00 a.m. By 4:00 p.m. the same day, Ryan called and told me my vehicle would be picked up the next day. My vehicle was picked up on May 19th and safely delivered on May 26th. It would have been delivered on the 25th, but the driver ran into problems in San Diego. The vehicle arrived in the same condition as shipped and the contents were not touched.
