When my boat finally arrived over a month late it had appeared that my boat had been severely damaged during transit. I had a professional survey conducted on the boat and entire motor before I purchased it. When my boat finally arrived the outboard motor was in a completely different condition than it was when it left the seller. It had appeared that the motor had been dragged on the ground which resulted in a completely torn off skeg. Where the skeg should have been it was obvious someone had taken the time to grind down the metal leaving a flush surface (with the exception of a large crack where the skeg originally was). Not only that, but the propeller that was on my motor at the time it was delivered to me was a completely different make, model and material of the original prop that was on my boat when it left the seller and when I had it surveyed. There was another boat on Ed's trailer that was missing a propeller, coincidentally the motor was the same make and model that would fit the prop that was now on my boat. The entire process with Ed was a nightmare, his lack of effective communication and ability to follow through with what he claims on his website is very frustrating. I have several emails with Ed accepting blame and responsibility for the damages but when he realized we weren't going to accept a used part he bought off the internet he told me his driver wasn't insured so if I were to file a claim I should expect it to be denied. After the damages to my boat were estimated at $4000.00, and a used part was not going to suffice my husband and I decided to file a claim with Markel Insurance (Ed's & SWFT insurance). Markel found Ed liable for 100% of the damages. They told me they will provide me with a check to cover 75% of the repair costs and that Ed was legally liable for providing directly to me the remaining 25%. When we called and asked Ed to send us a check via certified mail he got very upset, used profanity and hung up the phone. To this day, almost four months later Ed is still not cooperating and is refusing to pay us his legal liability (which is just his deductible).

as soon as you send back the Propeller my driver put on your Boat we will be happy to send you the deductible BUT YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND HAVE REFUSE TO SEND US ANY THING BACK SO I THING THE THIEF HEAR IS YOU NOT US And I did not move this boat a driver did not me so get your story correct
