I urge you in the strongest terms: do not do business with Rock Bottom.
My experience and opinion: Rock Bottom is a dishonest business; they will quote you a low rate to get our deposit with no realistic expectation that they can deliver your car for that price; they will then raise the price;you may never see your deposit back.
My contract (Contact No. TN 4402) that required delivery by a specified date. I repeatedly called to remind them of the deadline. I was repeated told it would be no problem, my care will arrive on time. After it became clear they could not perform, I was told for the first time that the price had to go up substantially to get delivery.
Michael was extremely rude over phone, saying that since I am a lawyer, I could easily pay the higher amount. All of that is true…but not the point and I won’t give in to a dishonest bait and switch tactic.
Michael promised me a refund on December 17, 2011. I have repeated my request for a refund several time, and have several times been told it will be processed. As of February 8, 2012, almost 8 weeks have passed, still no refund. Michael has refused to even reply to my most recent emails (January 31, February 3 and February 6)
