My interactions with Shawn Witt at Red Carpet Transport were uniformly pleasant and positive. I do not fault him or his company for the problems I had with the trucking firm that ultimately bid on the move of my Lexus from New York to Phoenix. If there was a problem with Red Carpet it had to do with the interface with the trucking company, since details on which Shawn and I had agreed were evidently communicated to the trucking firm but then not communicated to the driver, or were otherwise ignored by him. This led to a pick up in Manhattan without any warning and a chaotic delivery in Phoenix, both complicated by trying to bring a large 18-wheeler into the heart of a major city. The move was on time, however, and despite a very dirty vehicle on the receiving end, it was otherwise in good shape and the price was as agreed.
