Tim was very good about communicating with me, regarding time of pickup, etc. This was very helpful. However, the price did not work out to be what was initially stated. I chose this company, even though the charges were higher than others, because they stated that they went above and beyond to get my vehicle shipped. However, they called me on the day the vehicle became available and said that they had found a driver, but it would cost me an additional $60. He also said that they were kicking in a percentage of their commission in order to get a driver.

The driver was on time, did a great job of transporting my vehicle. He didn't incidate he had haggled over the price, but that he was offered a flat $300 to transport, which I paid him in cash.

So, not being experienced in this, I don't know if a dispatcher upped the price, if Red Carpet upped the price, or what. I just know that I wanted my vehicle, I got my vehicle, and I paid more than I originally was quoted. This may be standard in the industry, I don't know. My vehicle was transported in a timely manner, and safely, so I assume I would use this company again.
