I'm in LA, bought a used SUV that I found online in St. Louis, an had it shipped to Chicago. Cheryl from Red Carpet was fantastic - very helpful, extremely diligent, and very concerned about my order and really want out of her way to check in and ensure that the delivery was a success. She was super-sweet and a complete joy to talk to on the phone, especially given the fact that she was calling two different numbers for me and juggling the contact information for the dropoff based upon the timing.

What people have to remember is that there are dispatchers (Red Carpet) and that there are drivers that commit to the dispatch, who can be independents. The driver (J&J Midwest Transportation) who delivered my truck was a bit of a head case (he almost drove the truck off the rig without lowering the ramp, for example), was late (2 days) in delivering the truck, and was not answering his phone.

Cheryl was on top of this situation right away, and I'm really happy she was our dispatcher. She wouldn't let the driver deliver the car late at night like he wanted to (the person signing for the car was a single mom) and checked in twice after the delivery to make sure everything was ok.
