STAY AWAY FROM PRESTIGE AUTO SHIPPERS!!

BEWARE OF PRESTIGE AUTO SHIPPERS OF FAIRFAX, VA.

After being guaranteed by PRESTIGE AUTO SHIPPERS several times in our first conversation of a set price for the transport of my vehicle, I was contacted the very next day with a price that was more money than quoted originally. About a week later, I was contacted again with the same inflated shipping charge, again, after I had been quoted a HARD price originally.

After several attempts to reach PRESTIGE AUTO SHIPPERS (3 weeks) with no response from said company, I was able to finally reach 'Waldo' and request a refund of my deposit ($195) at which absolutely no service had yet been provided. He claimed they DID provide a service, even though it was an inflated charge than I had not agreed to originally or at any subsequent time. In questioning Waldo why he would keep my deposit if no service had been provided; he replied, "Obviously, you are incompetent. Let me explain this to you..." With that I told him I would call the attorney general of the state of VA and he replied, "Go ahead! Call the Fairfax police and they'll tell you that you don't have a leg to stand on, and you can't afford the legal fees. So go ahead, call whoever you want to call!" I replied, "So you're not going to return my deposit even though you didn't provide a service?" Again he said, "We DID provide a service. You can do whatever you want. We've had bad reviews before, and you still chose Prestige." I was told by Waldo 'Go ahead, file a complaint. The legal fees will cost way more than what you're trying to get from PRESTIGE AUTO SHIPPERS." " I then asked him, "How do you sleep at night, knowing you provided no service and KEPT my deposit?" The conversation ended when he hung up on me.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT USE PRESTIGE AUTO SHIPPERS!! They give this industry a very bad name that hardworking people in this industry do not deserve. Again, PLEASE do not call PRESTIGE AUTO SHIPPERS. They WILL figure out a way to keep your deposit and NOT fulfill their end of the agreement.

We located 3 carriers for you over the course of 1 month. Your schedule did not allow you to be there when the carrier was going to arrive. On one occasion after we rescheduled around your convenience we found a carrier that was $50.00 dollars more than you were originally quoted. Please be mature about the issue and explain that you simply are one of those people that are never satisfied with anything. Regards.
