As the owner of a Ford GT we try to attend the FordGTForum Rally each year. The year a member coordinated transport for a number of us via Passport Transport.

I found them to be very responsive to our our needs. As some of these cars are approaching or exceeding $250K in value there was a question of insurance coverage by the carrier. Originally their max coverage per car was $250K and $1.5MM per load. Due to the value of the GT cargo, they doubled the per car coverage to $500K and increased the load coverage to $2MM.

The initial inspection of the car before loading was extremely detailed and the car was loaded at the time specified and arrived at the destination in Sanoma, CA in the specified timeframe. Both the tractor and trailer looked to be in good condition with precautions taken to ensure lower level cars being transported had no chance of debris or oil from those on the upper level.

The driver was well seasoned in this type of transport and very pleasant as well.

The return drivers were a group of three which I assumed meant they could legally be on the road constantly. As such, the delivery on the return trip was much quicker. Nonetheless, both pick up and delivery times were as originally specified.

I observed a loading and unloading and found they took great care to ensure no damage resulted and very cognizant of the low ground clearance of the car

I will certainly use them in the future if available and have no problem recommending them to others based on my experience.

While repeat customers will receive a small discount on future transports, no incentive payments were offered for this review.
