When my father passed away in June and my husband and I decided to restore his '69 Camaro, I immediately stressed about how to transport the car across the country. I had been referred to another transport company by someone in the trucking business only to find they were incapable of communicating after I filled out the online inquiry. Searching through google, I happened upon Passport Transport. Based in the Midwest, I felt the company more than likely shared some of the values I grew up with in Minnesota.

I liked how the reviews never mentioned that people had been paid to write positive reviews about their experiences. I also noticed one man raved about John Scharff's customer service. When I called to find out more, I was so very pleased and surprised when John Scharff answered the phone. He was pleasant and honest about that it may take more than a few weeks to get a truck to the rural area where I grew up. He was kind and patient when he explained the details for transport. His attention to detail was as impeccable as my own...something you rarely find from a stranger these days. He always returned my emails and calls within minutes throughout the entire process. When scheduling for the delivery became complicated, he never made us feel like our car in need of great repairs was any less important than the Ford GT's that were en route to a show and transported with our car.

All I can say is when my husband buys another Porsche or BMW and wants to purchase from out-of-state somewhere, I know who we will be using to transport the vehicle to us. Thank you to the driver and to John for coordinating the transport.
