Like many of you, I was bombarded with quotes from different transportation companies for moving my vehicle. All within the 800-1200 doallar range. I went with PDQ Auto movers for several reasons even though they were on the high end of the quotes - Originally around 1150 - but came down to 1050. PDQ had good reviews and they were the only company that actually called to follow up on the email. However, on the day of pick up, I received no call. When I spoke with Missy, she had not yet contracted with a truck....I gave her 24 hours to find one, and the following day was called by one of the gentlemen saying there still was no truck available. I ended up having to tow the car accross country myself. I understand how this type of business works...(or in my case doesn't work). The lack of a call on the day my car was supposed to be picked up is unacceptable. The fact that the gentleman that called me the next day puched back at me and tried to explain how I was "going to call another company and get a lower quote and be in the same situation" was offensive. I unfortunately cant remember his name. If at anytime someone would have just said "I am sorry for the situation you are in." this would have eased the anger. Obviously I will not be using PDQ again.

This was an unfortunate situation. As we explained to Justin that the price was correct at $1150, he insisted on going down to $1050, barely enough to move. While we could not contract a truck, it was beyond our control.. there were no trucks picking up from Justin's area, and especially not at the lower price. However, not only did we speak with Justin daily but apoligized profusely for his situation. We called in a timely manner so that he could make arrangements for towing the car, which was per his request. Lesson... don't force a lower price when we recommend a different one. The original price of $1150 was accurate.
