DAMAGED CAR AND WON'T REIMBURSE

DAMAGED CAR AND NEVER COMPENSATED!! I had a horrible experience with Ray transporting my 1962 Bonneville from California to Michigan. He has NO communication skills whatsoever, which is great for a business. Anyways, the car arrived on time, although he dropped it off at midnight which was an inconvenience for the person receiving my car, and it turns out it is dark at midnight making it hard to inspect the car. First of all the car was covered in oil and grime from the car above it. Secondly he had the car hanging off the back of his trailer about five feet and he said he got TWO tickets for having a load overhanging too far. Then he told me “Well, you pretty much got a free ride because I got two $350 tickets for your car being too long.” WHAT? How is that my fault??? The ticket isn’t because my car was too long it’s because he doesn’t know what he’s doing as a driver. But the worst part is that the car was damaged on the roof from the upper deck bouncing off of it creating four dents and multiple scratches. I got an estimate done and it came out to $700, he said he wouldn’t pay that much. Finally settled on $300 dollars and said he would send me a check. I haven’t received anything. He said he sent me a check and it was cashed in a city three hours away from where I live. Well, it wasn’t me. And he refuses to send out another check. He keeps saying he'll send it but never does. Oh, and I also found one of my dual exhaust sides jammed up into the car about a foot and kinked. I figured with the way he treats his customers I would never see compensation for that, so I ate it and paid $150 to get it fixed. I can’t believe how he can stay in business being so unprofessional and incompetent.
