I'm truly sorry about the additional fee that our customer was charged by the driver. By law/DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, the cars must be empty during transport. If we are told up front that belongings will be packed in the car, we can work with a driver that will allow up to 100 lbs of belongings to be shipped in the trunk at mo additional cost. Unfortunately our customer did not tell us that she was going to put personal items inside the vehicle so that we can make the proper arrangements (with a driver that allows up to 100lbs in the car at no extra charge).
