This was the first time I have shipped a vehicle, so I didn't know what to expect. The on-line video provided by Orange was helpful in showing me what to expect. Follow-up telephone conversations were also very helpful.

Orange contracted with Anthony Auto Transport for the actual shipment. Pick up was to be between 11-1, on Dec 3. At 2:30 I called dispatcher Jesus to find out where the truck was. Turned out it had had a break down in the morning. Better communication between the driver & dispatcher should have been better, & it did improve as the day progressed. Part of the delay was caused by rain all day in So Cal, where drivers do not know how to drive in rain - that couldn't be controlled. I contacted driver Saul and met the truck at 6PM, at a lighted parking lot. He was friendly and easy to talk with, and put me at ease with the idea of turning my vehicle over to him.

Originally, delivery was to be on Dec 6. Given the schedule driver Saul told me that he had, I knew that wouldn't happen. Delivery was actually on Dec 7, but that was not a problem, in fact it worked out better for the pick-up contact. The dispatcher and driver both communicated well with the pick-up contact.
