Pretty solid company all around. Not without flaws, but none of which would be reasons to deny business. I was given a freight quote, and upsold, which I expected. But, I could have retained the option for cheaper services. I agreed with Steve, it didn't seem prudent given the soft top nature of the FJ40 I was shipping. I'm good with that. Communication was a little lacking, but I got the sense when we spoke Steve had a dozen irons in the fire at any moment, so I wasn't too concerned. He spoke fast, and acted fast, which is typical of "movers and shakers" so that was par for the course as well. Some folks may not like that, but I'm used to it, so it was business as usual. I was lead to believe the pickup would happen in a day or two and it took nearly a week. But, I told them up front I wasn't in a rush. Again, not a problem for me. The vehicle arrived on schedule and the delivery person was efficient and methodical. He was no "newb" to the process. I was impressed with his trailer and his candor. The only thing I wasn't pleased with was the billing department. I paid the invoice for shipping in full, while the vehicle was in transit. Yet, I got automated "New Payment Request" in email and via text often afterwards. I assumed that the QuickBooks that generated such items would log an invoice "Paid" once you'd remitted payment. I'm assuming this will eventually cease. Would I recommend Steve and this service to others? YES. I gave him a pass on a few small issues here and there, as I'm a business owner too and understand being run ragged. However, there might be people less understanding out there. If you're one of them, and rigid as the day is long, you might not enjoy this service. I have no doubt you'll get your vehicle, but some of the relations with the company could be slightly diminished for you.
