The last time I left a review on this site about another company, it was glowing, so I'm not hard to please. Let me also say that New World Auto Transport did everything they were paid to do, I can't complain about that at all. When I called them the first time, I got a quote of 1395, which was on par with other companies I called. When I called back, two or three days later the price jumped to $1425, small difference, but it bugged me. After mentioning that I had already received a quote for 1395 from their company days earlier, I was not impressed at all with the response I received from the sales attendant. He finally agreed to "try" to get the job done for $1395, which I found ridiculous since we're talking about $30 here. I was just waiting to get a call staying they needed more money to get the truck picked up, which did eventually happen. The first thing that really bugged me was a lack of follow through when it came to communication. After being told my vehicle would be picked up with in two days, I had to call the rep at New World after three days to see what the status was, he said he was working on it. Eventually, I got a call and was told for $50 he would have the truck picked up on the following Sunday which was a day or two away at that point. But if I didn't agree, it would be about a week before it could get picked up. THIS IS MY MAIN COMPLAINT. No one likes to feel like they're getting "worked-over" and New World should take note of this....I was already expecting my truck to have been picked up, and now not only am I being asked to spend $50 extra dollars, if I say "no", its going to put me a week behind.....not cool.
The truck ended up getting picked up a day later than planned, but I'd assume that was not New World's fault. And I was VERY HAPPY with the actual trucking company who brought the truck over. They ended up being two days early (not sure how) and the driver was very kind and knowledgeable.
Would I recommend New World Auto Transport? That's tough, as they DID get the job done, I just wasn't 100% satisfied with the communication and the seemingly pushy sales technique. So, just be forewarned, they're a legit company, but the communication and accuracy could be better in my opinion.
