After I paid the deposit, I found a direct carrier myself for cheaper and tried to cancel. The broker made the cancellation process impossibly difficult, requiring multiple forms, notarizations, and then charged a $100 cancellation penalty that was buried deep in the fine print. They actively discourage customer freedom.
