The broker completely failed to verify the carrier's insurance status before dispatch. When a minor scratch occurred, we discovered the carrier’s policy had lapsed. The broker immediately disclaimed all liability, leaving me stuck paying for the repair out of pocket. Their due diligence process is clearly non-existent and highly negligent.
