Jason Foltz, broker for Nationwide was very responsive to all inquiries from the time he provided a cost estimate to the time following the delivery of the vehicle to its destination. Having dealt with other brokers, I would have expected Jason to also volunteer the name and contact number of the carrier, but we had to followup to get this information after Jason took our order to proceed, and before placing our deposit (in other words, we received Jason's invoice before we were informed who the carrier was, or were provided contact information).
The carrier, Mark and Marti Auto Transport did a poor job of communicating both the expected time of arrival for vehicle pickup and the estimated date of delivery. The driver lost his way to pick up the vehicle, phoning us from a neighboring city where the name of the street was the same as our address, to ask us for directions to the pickup point. This was puzzling particularly since the location is readily accessible using any standard GPS (this is an urban/suburban address, not rural).
Although the car was picked up and delivered a couple of days later than the date promised by both the broker and driver, we were under no time constraint for delivery because we had alternative transportation available to us; however, if you have a schedule to meet, you should proceed with caution in your selection of a broker and carrier.
