I received a call from National Transport 3 days prior to the pick up date that a carrier/driver has been assigned to my order.

On the date of the promised pick-up date, the truck from VLS (the carrier company) showed up as scheduled.

Transport time was estimated for around 6 to 8 days. The actual transport time was 4 days. This worked out great for me as I wanted the car ASAP. For some customers that would need to make arrangement to be available to receive the car, this might actually be an inconvenience.

I paid for an open trailer, but the carrier, VLS, transported my car in an enclosed trailer. I suppose I got lucky.

Overall, I would rate both National Transport (the broker) and VLS (the carrier) highly. The driver from VLS was very accomodating. I changed the delivery address at the last minute to a different address about 30 miles away from the original destination address and the driver did not hesitate to accomodate my request.
