My brother owns a Kawasaki Vuclan which was here in Michigan where we are from that he wanted to bring to Florida where he is currently training at Pensacola to be a Combat Systems Officer. My mom went online to solicit a quote for having it shipped. First her in-box blew up, then the house phone, so she didn't want to deal with it anymore and asked me to.
Jack Morris came in with a quote of $550 that was $200 under the nearest offer for enclosed transport. I called him and he had no problem talking to me instead of my mom and I gave him my e-mail. He coordinated for the transport, but I took the bike to Rosenau power sports (dealer) to have it checked out before shipping and they said that it was going to take longer, so I had to go back to Jack and reschedule. Naturally I felt like an idiot, but Jack was cool and told me to let him know when the bike would be available. Once it was I called back and he arranged for transport with August Rush, who when I spoke to him told me that his itinerary had changed and he couldn't pick up on the 9th. We arranged for Monday the 14th, and he was on time.
From the state of his van and trailer I could see that he worked hard to scrape by, but he got the bike there on time and in the same condition in which it left. He also worked with my brother to coordinate a delivery time outside of my brother's duty hours, which ended up being really late, but that's what we needed.
Basically, I think you can't beat this service with a stick. Two other offers came in and I told the callers that we had already engaged NDT. Naturally they wanted to know for what price, as NDT's competitors. I told them $550 and the both got huffy, one even said "you've got my number, you'll be calling me back when that doesn't happen." Well, I just got an MMS with a picture of the bike from my brother, so here's to your health buddy!
