After I made a deal to acquire a couple vehicles outside of the USA it became as big a task of how to transport them once they arrived to port in the USA to have a carrier capable of picking up and knowing all of the issues associated with import seaport pick up. Having never imported a car or used a car carrier service before, I used the Internet to conduct reviews of multiple auto transport carrier service companies. I finally decided on using Motor Movers Transport based on solid feedback and references I reviewed. They were right in line of what I perceived a "good value". I liked how Ric handled himself and spoke to me with clarity up front and someone who really did want my business and explained how this business really works. It takes a lot to impress me and he EARNED my business. Once in process both Ric and Cheryl handled everything with the importer in Florida and all of the required documentation. I cannot stress enough how important this part is as a single out of line character can cause enormous hassle. These vehicles were in seaport requiring the hassle of a TWIC carded driver and dealing with the port and all the issues that this creates. The vehicles were was picked up the same day they were finally released from customs and all documentation was in place and they were delivered to my door the same night after an 8 hour drive away not including the hours of hassle at the port for the driver. I would highly recommend Ric and Cheryl and Motor Movers Transport to anyone who asks along with the carrier himself. Cheryl was Very careful on selection of carrier and provided excellent communication and full contact information. The carrier person was very pleasant, prompt and provided continuous communication from the seaport and while in route. He handled my vehicles with professionalism. No damage and no problems. On time, as promised. Excellent experience. One additional part I must add is that the learning experience with the port and customs and all of the inspections and RE-Inspection caused several delays and demurrage in port. Ric and Cheryl worked closely with me through all of this hassle, had a driver wait most of a day non-compensated as the port would not release and managed through this very accomodatingly and took an unusual amount of calls from me without ever once doing anything but helping me get through this for which I truly appreciate all that they did!
