I was relocating from Washington State to Washington DC. I contacted serveral vehicle transport companies for quotations. I received quotes from 6 vehicle transporters. I selected Motor Movers to transport my vehicle. Motor Movers quoted price was competitive. The quoted price was $950.00. The contributing factor for my final decision to select Motor Movers was the thorough quote that I received. Alice Perry handled the coordination for transport of my vehicle. She was professional, prompt and very courteous. Alice worked with my preferred pick-up schedule. Although other transporters stated that my preferred date may not be necessarily met by any transporter. Motor Movers did arrange for pick-up of my vehicle on the date that I requested and at the price which was quoted. Once the pick-up date was confirmed, a $150 payemnt was required. Alice ensured that I was provided updated information on the scheduling for pick-up of my vehicle, clear instructions of what to prepare for and prompt follow-up to ensure smooth tansport. My vehicle arrived a couple of days early at its destination. I paid the remaining $800 to the transporter. My vehicle was very dirty, expected for open transport, but in otherwise excellant condition. My only suggestion for Motor Movers would be to offer a coupon for a car wash at the customers destination. I would use Motor Movers again and would refer the company to family, friends and co-workers.
