Jon Alquire (480-428-1263) with Motor Movers was an extemely competent agent in arranging the transport of my daughter's car from California to Maine. He helped me out on short notice, as we were working with a different broker to start with, and that particular firm left me hanging with no communication.When I called to follow-up with them they never returned my calls. Jon got the car booked within a day and a half, which prevented me from having to drive cross country myself. He walked me through everything and kept in touch everday with updates on the pick-up of the vehicle. Once the transporter was on the road, Jon kept tabs on the driver and called to let me know his location throughout the week. Although my vehicle arrived later than anticipated, it was no fault of Jon's. Unfortunately, the dispatcher and driver with the transport company gave false information on their progress to Maine, when they got to the East Coast. It finally got delivered in good shape, even though there were moments when I thought it was going to take another day to arrive. Jon stepped in and pushed things along with the driver and kept me informed the entire time. He did an exceptional job in explaining things and following up. I would use him for any future auto transport needs, and will recommend Jon to anyone else needing this service.
