Total Communication Breakdown after Pickup — Montway & M&B Trucking Completely Lost Track of My Vehicle If you value knowing where your vehicle is or expect a basic level of professional communication, do not use Montway Auto Transport or M&B Trucking and Transportation LLC. I hired Montway to broker the transport of my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from Dallas, TX to Jacksonville Beach, FL. They assigned the job to M&B Trucking and Transportation out of Orlando, Florida. The vehicle was picked up on Monday, June 8th, with an explicit estimated delivery window of Thursday (11th) or Friday (12th) that same week. The pickup process was great—on-time and with plenty of communication, which gave me confidence in my choice. However, once Friday arrived, the entire operation completely fell apart: • Montway Completely Lost Tracking: By Friday, Montway had completely lost contact with the carrier. They had absolutely no idea where my vehicle was over the entire weekend. • Empty Corporate Platitudes: When I contacted Montway for support, their customer service was entirely useless. Instead of providing actual tracking data or location updates, they just read from empty scripts, telling me to "rest assured" because they use this carrier frequently. Assurances mean nothing when you cannot physically locate my car. Don’t expect to get a live person who will actually assist you once Montway has your money and your vehicle is gone. • Zero Carrier Communication: Dealing with M&B Trucking directly was impossible. The dispatch representatives repeatedly told me they did not know where their own driver was. They committed to specific delivery dates and times on multiple occasions, only to completely ghost me and go silent the moment those deadlines passed. The Bottom Line: Montway talks a big game during the sales process about their "vetted network" and delivering "peace of mind," but the moment the contract is signed, they completely absolve themselves of accountability. They pocketed my $885 and left me completely stranded over the weekend, wondering if my vehicle was stolen or abandoned. A word of advice: Don’t bother purchasing their "insurance assistance" add-on. Based on how they handle a standard delivery, I am certain there is zero value in their assistance if your vehicle is actually damaged. Save yourself the extreme stress, the headache, and the complete lack of professional communication. Avoid Montway and M&B Trucking at all costs. Use a company that actually tracks their drivers and respects their delivery commitments.
