Poor service, Bad communications, Driver No shows.

I contracted Montway Auto Shippers to bring my brand new 110K vehicle from Colorado Springs Co. to New Mexico. The booking agent was very pleasant, gave me a reasonable price for enclosed transport advised the vehicle would be picked up and delivered the same day. This is where everything went off the rails, the broker assigned the job to EROS transport LLC (a Montway transporter) I had to make multiple requests for the transport companies Insurance binder, NTSA/DOT information. I finally got it later from Montway. The next day I actually contacted the transport company directlyI was told same day pickup and deliver wasn't happening and was given a number of excuses. I was also told one day transport was not the agreement by a very unpleasant person and when I explained this is what Montway promised the conversation went south and became very pointed. Unhappily, I accepted that they would pick up in the morning later in the week and deliver the next day.. The day arrived for pickup I texted the driver when I could not get them on the phone so to give the dealership a time when the transport service was to arrive. No response, calls to the transporter again were a zero. The afternoon arrived, nothing from the driver, transport company, nothing. I called Montway directly, they tried, nothing, I was told by the transport company that the driver at this point wasn't even in the same state. The transporter told me they wouldn't be picking up that day and moved out the pickup the to 2 days later with a delivery the following day. I called Montway advising them this was totally UN-acceptable and that they were in breach of the original contract. I was told I would get a call back later, at this point I was already looking for another carrier meantime, Montway was trying to get another carrier. An hour or so later Montway called back saying they were sorry and said they would offer me a discount and would provide a different carrier, at this point I told them to forget it, I cancelled them at that point. The part that bothered me the most was every time I called I got a different person with a different story. When your shipping a over 100k vehicle you want honesty, professionalism and performance, and not BS. In all honesty I have no idea how this company has such a high rating. I have used a number of transporters in the past and I can say this one is the worst. At this point all I can hope is that I can save one person from the aggravation and waste of time I spent with this company, An auto transport company is as only as good as their sub-contractor and making sure they only hire the best.
